As we journey toward transformation, we want to become more like Christ in ever more challenging circumstances. That’s what Journey Groups are all about! Join us as we learn to walk in the peace of Christ, even in times of distress. Travel the path of transformation in a way that is consistent with God’s design for you.

Once you've completed Discover Journey Groups, the next step is Journey Group Level 1, which meets weekly for one hour throughout most of the year.

You are ready for the Journey Group Master Class!
The Joyful Community Master Class invites you to move from learning and longing into consistently living from the heart Jesus gave you, as a joyful community. Over the course of a year, you’ll practice growing your capacity to stay connected, steady, and peaceful in both joy and pain.
In the Journey Group Master Class, you’ll create a joyful community as described in The Other Half of Church. Your meetings will include gently practicing skills organically with the situations that arise in the group and members’ daily lives.

Meet the Founder
Amy Hamilton
Amy is a content developer, author, trainer, and visionary. Some years ago, Amy found herself being transformed by the relational concepts of joy, appreciation, interactive connection with God and community. Over time, she began to envision small groups that could gather around these ideas, build friendships, and connect intimately with God. Out of that vision, Journey Groups were born.

More than a decade later, Journey Groups have expanded to touch thousands of lives across the globe with a relational discipleship model that spreads naturally through the Kingdom of God.

What exactly is a Journey Group?
How is this different from other small groups? Couldn't I just start my own?
A Journey Group is a small group of 6-8 people that meet online once a week.
​
Content rich and relationally driven, Journey Groups are an experience rather than a study. The practices help align your heart, mind, and spirit so that everything in your life works more smoothly — your emotions, health, relationships, faith, sense of belonging, and maturity. You'll find yourself able to live as the person God created you to be in even difficult situations.
If you want to lead a local group, we invite and recommend that you join our Alive & Well Leadership Community. Here you can experience the specific practices that make Alive & Well Journey Groups uniquely transformational.

Is there a cost to join?
Yes. $40 per month is paid to your Leader + an annual registration fee of $199 (non-refundable).
Discover Journey Groups have a one-time $75 fee.

This fee helps your Leader continue their training and also helps Alive & Well continue to provide you top-notch content and service.
What are we studying?
The Level One Journey Group book includes 39 weekly topics with life-changing material from Life Model Works, THRIVEtoday, Deeper Walk, and Alive & Well.

While the JG curriculum is rich in content, transformation begins with interactive practices that impact your body, soul, mind and spirit. Prepare to learn concepts and experience them together.
