A Fellowship of Leaders Growing Together in Whole-Brained, Embodied Faith

You weren’t meant to grow alone. True spiritual maturity happens in community.

Welcome to the Alive & Well Leadership Community (AWLC)—a practice space where you can exercise practices that develop relational maturity while fostering a connection with God, yourself, and others.

This isn’t just leadership training. It's a journey of becoming. At AWLC, we believe leadership isn't taught, it's caught. We learn through modeling what it is like us and our people to do. Like Jesus' model of close relationship with a few—it’s about becoming the person God designed you to be.

THIS IS A PLACE WHERE YOU WILL:

Grow in spiritual maturity both as an individual and within a group that supports and strengthens each other.

Learn how to lead from authenticity with the emotional resilience to build relational connections.

Experience renewal and transformation over time in a setting that honors joy, peace, and connection.

Be equipped to guide others with unique and powerful practices that originated with Journey Groups.

How This Community Works

Gather with us on three Monday evenings and two Friday mornings each month. You’re welcome to attend whichever 60-minute Zoom sessions fit your schedule—or join them all!

Learn to accompany others on the journey to maturity, with attention to both personal growth and group transformation.

Shift from being “the sage on the stage” to “the guide on the side,” modeling leadership that’s authentic, relational, and responsive.

Experience God’s presence and learn to hear His voice through regular Immanuel Connection practices.

The Power of Maturity in Community

During our first official AWLC meeting, we reviewed the Map of the Journey and the Destination of a Pilgrimage to Maturity with:

✔ A quieting practice.
✔ A small group time for check-in and reflection.
✔ A group discussion of concepts.
✔ A connection with Immanuel around our maturity.

✔ A small group time for sharing.

This is what we’re building together: a practice space for real, transformative growth.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Answers to common queries our participants have before joining.

Is the cost paid month by month, or is there a commitment?

Most members join for a season—or even for years. Upon registration, a recurring monthly payment is charged based on your selected fee. If you ever need to pause your membership, just give us 30 days’ notice.

What if I miss a meeting?

No worries! AWLC meets five times a month, and while consistency is encouraged, we understand that life happens.

You can catch up on key insights through our community recordings and resources.

Are there trainings every month, or only at certain times of the year?

AWLC meets five times a month, year-round.

Meetings are held:

Mondays (2nd, 3rd, & 4th weeks) at 5 PM Central

Fridays (2nd & 4th weeks) at 10 AM Central

Each session covers the same topic for that week, so you can choose the time that works best—or attend both, as the group discussions always bring fresh insights!

* Bonus: There's also some discount pricing for a few of our online conferences! *

I want to apprentice as a breakout leader for IEL or IEGT. Is AWLC the right leadership group for me?

Yes! AWLC is the leadership community for all, including:

✔ Small group leaders in faith communities
✔ Journey Group leaders & apprentices
✔ Missionaries & ministry leaders
✔ IE mentors and apprentices

If you're preparing to lead within IEL or IEGT, this is the perfect place to grow and be equipped.

How does AWLC relate to the former Certified Journey Group Leadership Community (CJGLC)?

AWLC evolved from CJGLC to meet the needs of a broader range of leaders—leaders of families, boards, small groups, and ministries.

What makes AWLC different from other leadership programs?

AWLC is not just another leadership training—it’s a practice space where you can engage the practices that develop relational maturity while fostering a connection with God, yourself, and others.

We focus on growing together, not just gaining knowledge.
